Product Range - Silan Grund

KEIM Silangrund is suitable for providing a water-repellent finish, in addition to any paint finish, on mineral, porous concrete surfaces exposed to severe water loads or such surfaces, which are moisture- sensitive.

Surfaces exposed to severe water loads are e.g. the weather sides of high-rise structures (wind pressure), buildings in coastal regions or on islands, bridges, horizontal or slightly inclined areas, areas exposed to splashing adjacent to sidewalks or streets (deicing salt solutions).

Highly moisture-sensitive surfaces are e.g. facades with cracked renders, autoclaved lightweight concrete (ALC), fair-faced brick and limestone masonry (intrinsic salt content), natural stone containing iron salts (brownish discolouration), poor quality concrete surfaces (shrinkage cracks).
